My name is Madison Mellencamp, and I am a Reiki Therapist, Pre + Postnatal Yoga Teacher, Integrative Nutrition Health Coach, Birth Doula, and Postpartum Doula. I am also formally trained in Mindfulness and Meditation.
My trainings allow me to offer a unique holistic approach to pregnancy and postpartum care. Holistic care means having support that nurtures your mind, body, and spirit. It means valuing getting to know YOU as an individual, and supporting all of you, the best way possible. And with this support, my hope is that you will freely nurture the intuition, power, and wisdom that is already within you, and courageously allow it to guide you through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum.
WHY HIRE A DOULA?
Doulas are trained professionals who provide continuous physical, emotional, and informational support to their clients before, during, and after childbirth to help them achieve the healthiest, most satisfying experience possible.
Continuous support is one of the most important and basic needs for birthing people, and it is unfortunately not provided in most birth settings. Because of this, doulas have become an invaluable tool in the birthing space.
